Climb up and over the historical wagon trails of Gantouw pass. This climb, although steep, is worth it when you are rewarded with views across the entire Elgin valley, the Kogelberg, Hottentots Holland, Nuweberg and Groenberg mountains and from the top of the Gantouw pass and down, magnificent views of False Bay, the Table Mountain range, the Helderberg and Hottentots Holland range of mountains.
